Dr. Manuel Romero-Alvarez, a member of the Technical Advisory Board of SunBorne, has over 25 years of experience in developing solar thermal power. Dr Romero-Alvarez was the director of all of Solar Energy Research & development at CIEMAT Spain and developed a number of technologies at the Plataforma de Solare Almeria until 2008.
He was the Associate Editor of the Solar Energy journal and is now serving as the Associate Editor of the ASME Journal of Solar Energy Engineering. Dr. Romero-Alvarez has published over 100 research papers on CSP including the most authoritative chapter on CSP in the Handbook of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
