Nitin Goel is a General Manager - Technology at SunBorne Energy, and is also the Head of our R&D Project for the MNRE. He was at Intel Corporation earlier where he played the lead role in guiding notebook manufacturers towards selection and characterization of Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs). He worked with global TIM manufacturers to develop several new high performance thermal conductive materials.
Nitins research focus covers a wide spectrum of thermal technologies like solar energy, energy conversion and electronics cooling. He has authored over 5 journal publications, over 7 conference publications in the solar energy field. He was the recipient of Graduate Student Award, 2004 by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Solar Energy Division - for outstanding research work in the field of solar energy.
Nitin has a PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida and a B. Tech from IIT Bombay.
